This was Verdeterre’s first project for SOCWA (Southeastern Oakland County Water Authority) and was primarily a water main pipe project that included bursting just over a mile of existing cast iron water main with 16” HDPE, replacing 1,000 feet of cast iron water main with open cut ductile iron, and the installation of a new pressure reducing valve complete with new enclosure and electrical. The bulk of the work was completed in the winter and required two Verdeterre pipe crews on site for the duration.
